Matt Huot, Esq
Matt Huot was born and raised in Laconia, New Hampshire. He graduated from Laconia High School in 2001. After high school, Matt enrolled at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. While at Georgetown, Matt served as an intern for U.S. Rep. Timothy J. Ryan of Ohio’s 17th congressional district. Matt graduated from Georgetown in 2005 with a B.A. in Government. After college, Matt attended Gonzaga University Law School in Spokane, WA. While there, Matt was named an associate editor of the Gonzaga Law Review, and served as class representative to the Student Bar Association. He also worked for Jonathan Lee, a Spokane family law attorney, as well as completing academic externships with the Spokane County Prosecutor and the Hon. Jerome Leveque, Chief Criminal Judge, Spokane County Superior Court. Matt graduated from Gonzaga Law in 2008.
After receiving his license to practice law in Washington, Matt worked at Burgess Fitzer, a Tacoma, WA civil defense firm. He decided to return home to Laconia in December, 2009 to be closer to his family and to practice law in the Granite State. He joined J. Miller & Associates in March, 2010, and is looking forward to providing effective representation to individuals and small businesses in the Lakes Region.
Matt currently resides in Laconia, where he is a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. Matt has also been appointed a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps. He will attend training in Charlottesville, VA this summer and will drill with the 3rd Legal Support Organization in Boston, MA, providing legal representation and services to soldiers and their families.
